Simpson Court: ccha completes new scheme

ccha has completed its newest scheme, which will provide eight new homes in South Croydon.

Simpson Court, which began development in January 2016, is completed ahead of schedule in early November.

Located on Pampisford Road, the property is made up of three two-bedroom apartments and five one-bedroom apartments.

The scheme is named after Angela Simpson, former Director of Corporate Services, who worked at ccha for nearly 29 years before her retirement this summer.

It is the fifth scheme built in partnership with Orbit Homes, taking the total number of homes created to 83 since we started working together.

Tracy Cullen, Chief Executive of ccha, believes the new development is a breath of fresh air in the current housing climate.

She said: “I am incredibly pleased with the results: Simpson Court is not only up to a high standard but has also been completed early, meaning residents are able to move in sooner.

“It provides eight new homes for affordable rent to support the ever-growing housing needs of the community in Croydon.”

The scheme’s official opening ceremony will take place on Tuesday 15th November and will be attended by guests including the Mayor of Croydon, Councillor Wayne Trakas-Lawlor.
